#8 - Water
April 3rd, 2008
Water is great. It comes in many flavors, like green tea. It looks good in pictures. Water generates very pleasing white noise in river form or in boiling water for green tea form. Water feels refreshing in shower form. By itself, water smells like nothing, and is therefore inoffensive. Water is the solvent of life. Only miscreants would dislike water. If you met a water hater, baptize them with the truth - a bucket of water.
Air is a substance of similar vital properties, but you only notice it when it is smoggy or blowing leaves in your face.
Fire burns people, and makes things smell terrible. You can have nice esthetically pleasing fires, but it requires a lot of work in the form of chimney building and wood cutting. It is much more enjoyable to walk to a stream. Your local frogs would agree with me.
The soil is messy. It is responsible for reduced productivity because offices have to hire janitors to remove dirt.
Of the four base elements, water is the best.
